Goodnight Irene!

Hurricane Irene came through Oriental last week with a vengeance, but did little to stop operations here at River Neuse Suites. We were very fortunate in that we experienced no flooding or water damage. The worst was being without air conditioning for three days! We had a lot of debris on the lawns but our excellent crews had us cleaned up in no time with picnic tables and comfy Adirondak chairs awaiting your arrival.

The hotel is completely up and running and it’s “business as usual.” Now that the weather has cooled off a bit, it’s a great time to come fish or just relax and soak up a much gentler sun.
