Farmer’s Market Every Saturday in Oriental NC

The Oriental Farmer’s Market, held every Saturday morning from 8:00 to 11:00 on Hodges Street, is a great place to check out whether you’re a “local old salt” or a visitor staying at our hotel in Oriental, NC.  You’ll be amazed at the variety of goods on offer – from great organic produce, to free range eggs, to vegetable and ornamental plants, herbs and gifts – the Farmer’s Market should be on your agenda while you’re in town.

In the photos below, Sandi Beal from Academy Street Gardens offers delectable organic heirloom vegetables, herbs and fresh made bagels and breads.  Mary Kathryn Christiansen sells amazing hand made soaps.  I can highly recommend the Balsam and Tea Tree soaps – what wonderful aromas!
